We have taken precautions to protect our team members, customers, and communities during the COVID-19 outbreak.

We continue to actively monitor and pursue recommendations promulgated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety Health Association (OSHA), and other governmental organizations in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect our people from this virus.

Frequently Asked Questions

We would ask that during this time you would bag all trash and place it in containers. We would also ask that that you not place any bulky goods out at this time. We would also recommend that you sanitize any touchpoints on your trash can or bin to protect yourself as well as our workers.
Sunrise is considered a “critical infrastructure business as determined by CISA” under the “Transportation and Logistics” and “Public works” headings. We are encouraged by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to maintain our normal work schedule to protect our community and ensure continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
  • Purchased additional personal protective equipment and cleaning
  • We have ordered additional fuel so we can continue to operate for a period of time in case of a supply shortage.
  • Minimizing exposure to residential household trash.
  • We will not pick-up loose trash on the ground next to cans and dumpsters.
  • All trash must be sealed and bagged and placed in containers.
  • All recyclable materials must be placed inside recycling bin (including cardboard).
  • We will not collect items left outside of the bin.
  • We will not be picking up large bulky goods that may expose us to disease for the time being (mattresses, furniture, etc.)
  • We are not accepting visitors to our offices during this time.
